Forestville has been the family home of the Bartolomei family since 1907. Their great-grandparents planted their original 100-acre property with zinfandel grapes in 1911. For these fourth generation Russian River Valley vineyard owners, siblings Catherine and Joe Bartolomei, the Farmhouse Inn realizes their Italian-American family's dream of combining warm Sonoma County hospitality with delicious food, fine wine and luxurious accommodations. Built in 1873, this completely restored classic American farmhouse features traditional furnishings merged with comfortable French/English cottage-style furnishings. Each of the eight cottages has just undergone a full renovation. Each boasts new furnishings, luxury linens and down comforters, wood burning fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and in-room saunas. The Farmhouse Inn originally opened as a full service Inn in 1990. Throughout the years, this property has seen continual growth and is currently enjoying its most extensive renovation ever.
