Chez Noel, Monrovia, California

Chez Noel is a bed and breakfast inn offering an unstuffy yet elegant atmosphere, with a full health concious gourmet breakfast. The house is an Eastlake style Victorian owned and run by artists, and built in 1886 by a former civil war captain.Original art is in every room, and faux finishes, decorative painting and period details are evident throughout the inn.

Cheery and unique, each guest room has a theme and is furnaced with vintage and antique furniture and prints.

The gardens are exceptional, with brick paths, and a collection of over 160 rose bushes, many of which are antique and English varities.

Located in the heart of historic Monrovia, it is just 8 minutes from Pasadena.Monrovia has many gift, antique shops ,restaurants,and a movie theatre with 12 screens, and imax one block from Chez Noel, and restaurant row in Arcadia is 1 mile.There are also many attractions nearby,(Santa Anita Racetrack 2 miles,Rose Bowl, 15 min,Disneyland 45 min. Getty musuem 45 min. ect) and our inn is in a very nice area. Downtown Monrovia has been used as a small town street in America, in many films.

Our breakfasts are homade, delicious, and health concious, with only fresh butter, fresh orange juices, and eggs using no hormones. Vegetarian is available, and we are close to several gyms.

Laundry service is available for a small charge, as is e-mail. We strive to make our guests feel welcome and at home here.

There is a family festival street fair one block from the inn every Friday night Feb-Dec. year round.
