Casa Cubuy Ecolodge is a nine room bed and breakfast in the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico, a one hour and 15 minute drive from San Juan. Cascades and pools of three mountain rivers can be viewed from our terraces and reached by easy paths under the forest canopy. Pre-Columbian rock carvings are on nearby boulders. We are 1500 feet above sea level and enjoy a cool, bug-free climate year round. No special clothing or equipment is needed for hikes into the forest. Birders can see activity right from the terrace - birds are attracted by our feeding stations. Snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, and horseback riding are 30 minutes away. We can make arrangements. For a change of pace you can drive 30 minutes to two mega resorts with restaurants, nightclubs and casinos.

All rooms have private baths and have views of the mountains and forest. The upper level rooms have views of the Cubuy River and waterfalls from private balconies. The rooms are large, airy and comfortably furnished in a Spanish-Caribbean style, with either king or queen beds. We have an honor bar, book room and sun deck. Meals are served at one very long table.
