Lindenstraat 5, Amsterdam, Netherlands
My house was built in 1636 and although fully restored it retains many of its original features such as beams, high ceiling ( 4m / 12' ) and an old water well.
The house is situated in the historic Jordaan, which is full of quaint cafes, restaurants and shops, but my street is still wonderfully quiet. It is in a very central position for all of Amsterdam's extensive activities. In the immediate area is the famous Anne Frank house, markets twice a week and of course the beautiful network of canals. The shopping centre and main museums are within walking distance or you can take the 'Opstapper' ( small local bus every 10 minutes along the Prinsengracht ).
As my guests you will have the use of a spacious self-contained ground floor apartment with own entrance in the heart of historic Amsterdam.
I like my guests to feel at home and be part of authentic Amsterdam life. We are open all year, French, German and English spoken.
