Girod House, New Orleans, Louisiana - Historic French Quarter bed and breakfast inn offering six guest rooms with private baths, balconies and antique furnishings. Located on picturesque Esplanade Avenue, between Bourbon and Dauphine Streets.

Built in 1833 by Nicholas Girod, the first mayor of New Orleans, as a gift to his son, the Girod House today is a charming, private, residential Bed and Breakfast Hotel. Each of the six spacious, well appointed rental units...five suites....(a deluxe two bedroom suite, four one bedroom suites) and 'un petit double' are unique, decorated with antiques and period furnishings. With our relaxed personal service and an excellent location picturesque Esplanade Ave., between Bourbon and Dauphine St...a great spot for visiting the French Quarter...the Girod House provides a pleasant alternative to large, impersonal hotels.
