UnratedRate this Inn A 1905 Federal building situated in a small, historic rural village, just below the Vermont border. There are 12 comfortable country rooms all of which have private baths, some with claw-footed tubs. Six of the rooms have working fireplaces and all have air conditioning. Guests are treated to a full country breakfast Wednesday through Sunday and a lovely continental breakfast on Monday and Tuesday. There is a full service restaurant on the first floor which is the favorite of the local people. The restaurant serves everything from chicken pot pie to lobster alfredo. Soups, breads and desserts are homemade and the chef, Peter, is always serving a creative nightly special.
