Dunshee'S Bed And Breakfast, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Located in the historic Canyon Road area, Dunshee’s is an intimate, secluded adobe compound with just two units, the Suite, which occupies half of the main house, and the Casita, a separate two bedroom guesthouse next door. Each unit is very spacious with traditional adobe detailing, all the expected amenities, and the artist-owner’s personal touches: fresh flowers, homemade cookies, folk art, good books and great breakfasts. The Suite comes with full gourmet breakfast while the Casita, which has its own kitchen, is stocked daily with homemade granola, fruit compotes, fresh muffins, gourmet coffee and juices for a delicious help-yourself breakfast.
With kiva fireplaces and private gardens and patios, Dunshee’s provides year-round romance and serenity. Owner Susan Dunshee, artist and amateur ballroom dancer, resides in the main house and is happy to give directions and candid opinions on where to eat, sightsee, shop and hike and to make sure you make the most of your time in the Land of Enchantment.
