Tucked between bustling Main Street and the historic Knight Foundry, the Inn is an oasis of "quiet" in the heart of Sutter Creek, the "Jewel of the Mother Lode."
The Inn was built in 1914 as a family home by Italian-American, Tobias Lagomarsino, who operated a stagecoach route between Sutter Creek, Volcano and Jackson.
Entering through an expansive, old fashioned sitting porch, the Craftsman (Arts and Craft) architecture is evident throughout the Inn. The original rosewood wainscoting and the leaded and stained glass windows are a handsome backdrop for antiques and collectibles from the early 1900s.
