Georgetown Historic Inn Bed and Breakfast with harbour viewGeorgetown Inn62 Richmond StreetGeorgetown, Prince Edward Island C0A 1L0 Canada 902-652-2511 877-641-2414 FAX: 902-652-2544 gtowninn@isn.net http://www.georgetowninn.org (Calculated from a total of 7 ratings) Rate this Inn Welcome to the Georgetown Inn. The building was constructed in 1840 for a mercantile store. Over the years it has served as a post office, bank, masonic lodge, a tea room and a hardware store. Ken and Joan aquired the building in April 1998 and have been carrying out extensive renovations to convert it into a 4 star Bed & Breakfast Inn with many compliments from guests and locals alike who can not believe what has been accomplished in only two years. An album of "before" and "after" pictures is on display. The Inn is located one block from Georgetown Harbour , which is a deep water harbour and its principal use is for lobster fishing and recreational boating. It is one of the finest sheltered harbours on the East Coast which does not freeze in winter or need dredging. Having travelled extensively, we have tried to provide all the amenities that we had looked for in B & B accommodation and rarely found. Warm hospitality, comfortable beds, and the little extras to make the stay as memorable as possible. Please let us know if you are celebrating a Wedding, Anniversary, etc. as a complimentary bottle of champagne will be available on arrival.
