1906 Alaska'S Capital Inn Bed And Breakfast, Juneau, Alaska
Juneau Alaska Bed and Breakfast near Mount Roberts Tramway
Enjoy turn of the century elegance, contemporary comfort, and convenient location in this downtown historic hillside mansion. Built in 1906 by a pioneer gold rush family, the Inn has recently gone through a three year renovation. Three floors of this restored mansion offer a variety of rooms to suit your preferences. Each one is impeccably furnished in traditional Arts & Crafts decor with a flourish of Alaskana.
Your stay will be a true bed and breakfast experience. The aroma of fresh coffee announces breakfast, a multi-course affair served in the formal dining room amidst rays of the morning sun. From the bed side diaries, guest's favorite entrees are the dungeness crab eggs benedict on home baked rolls, or the lemon souffle hotcakes and thick cut smoked ham. Linger and enjoy coffee and conversation in an unrushed atmosphere, sharing plans or recounting the previous day's adventures.
Hosts Linda and Mark are long time Alaskans having lived, fished, and paddled around Southeast Alaska for more than half their lives. They are an excellent resource for just about everything and are always happy to share their local knowledge. They maintain a 35' coastal cruiser for chartered day trips for great sight seeing, photography, or kayak drop offs.
"Beautiful restoration...the painstaking efforts can be seen everywhere." (HG/TV Home and Garden Network)
