Our large, tropical house is one street from the beach in beautiful Yorkeys Knob. Your accommodation leads out onto the balcony which overlooks the resort-style pool and gardens. You'll awake to birdsong and have a good chance of catching a green tree frog falling asleep for the day. The tariff includes a sumptuous continental breakfast of cereal, bread and fresh tropical fruit. After going out for the day, either on a diving trip to the outer reef or to the magic of any of the heritage rainforests around Cairns, you may decide to visit one of the select group of quality restaurants close by. Some will even pick you up and return you home for free. If extreme sports are your style, you can bungy or parachute or ride an ATV, and when you're done, come home to a quiet and relaxing slice of tropical ease. If birdwatching or hiking are your style, it will be hard to choose a destination. So many to choose from.
