The Jama is a 30 metre (91 foot) C19th barge that has been converted into living space. We are an architect, a writer and our children lived in this boat.

Situation
An easy twelve minute cycle ride or drive from the market square in a semi-rural position (the edge of open countryside) on a quiet tree-lined road, on the Bruges-Oostende canal. Working ships pass from time to time (which is exciting) also ducks, cyclists, walkers and joggers as we are on a popular route out of town.

Accommodation
There is accommodation for two people in two rooms. The Living room is spacious and attractive with polished wood floors and old pieces of furniture. It is an open-plan living and cooking space with a shower room. A family or friends staying together can use two double rooms. In the wheelhouse is the original wood-panelled

CABIN. Also for 2 persons. It is small, cosy and romantic with a built-in bed, a sink in a cupboard and a toilet (no shower). There is a terrace on the roof.

Kitchen,
We offer accommodation (kitchen) to make your own coffee, tea, food. All facilities are there.
