Restored 6,000 square foot Victorian Home, built in 1878. Home is furnished with a mixture of antiques and modern furniture. Large spacious rooms, two with private balconies overlooking the antique water fountain. Home and lot are shaded by large oak and tulip trees that are over 100 years old. Located in a small community with many restored homes dating from 1833,just 45 minutes away from Kansas City. Each room has it's own private bath and T.V. VCR available if requested. Wonderful desserts served each night and a four course country breakfast each morning. Each room furnished and decorated in unique STYLE that mix old with new. Large grounds with benches for just sitting and relaxing, large patio to sit and visit with the hosts or other guest. Covered front porches with swings and chairs to sit and read or watch the people go by. Front parlor also serves as a library with many new and out of print books for our guest's enjoyment.
