Muffin'S Guest House, Malta, Ohio
We provide a quiet, non-smoking country oasis just off the Morgan County Scenic By-Way. The rustic cabin includes a queen bed (or 2 bunk beds on request) TV/VCR (local broadcast only), air conditioning, natural gas heat, full bath, and kitchenette with a small refrigerator and microwave oven. The cozy cabin has a private entrance facing away from the main house. Guests have access to our Nordic Spa, acres of land for tramping around, and a fire ring for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. We provide the roasting sticks!
A full country-style breakfast is served each morning, including freshly baked muffins or biscuits. A homemade snack is provided in the evenings. The kitchenette is stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, microwave popcorn, and an assortment of cold beverages. Special menu needs should be arranged when making reservations. Nearby restaurants range from fast food to upscale dining.
Select a quick read from our personal library or a video from our collection. Take a relaxing dip in our hot tub. Enjoy the scenery in a nature hike or ride your own bike on the quiet country roads. Depending on the season, guests may participate in hay stacking, feeding out hay in the snow, or wood splitting. We provide the hammers and wedges.
