Watkins in 1889. He later became the Mayor of Chattanooga and was heralded as one of the 1st developers of Lookout Mountain. This Inn boasts a rare Victorian Romanesque design with original coffered ceilings, hand-carved oak stairway, beveled glass windows and ceramic tile embellishments. The Inn is located a mile from the entire downtown area and is within close proximity to the Bluff View Art District, Dining, Arts & Antiques, the Tennessee Aquarium, the Hunter Museum of Art and Coolidge Park.
