Birds Nest Cottage is two stone cottages built in 1853. We welcome overseas visitors, both individuals and groups, and are happy to cater for special diets. On the edge of the Peak District National Park, Birds Nest Cottage is an ideal base for touring the countryside, but at the same time is only 30 minutes away from Manchester city centre by road or train. Manchester Airport is also only 35 minutes away. Glossop is a small town surrounded by beautiful countryside offering many facilities for eating and drinking.
