We are located just blocks from the University of Alabama and downtown Tuscaloosa. Our Inn is a dutch colonial built by Dr Austin Maxwell who was team physician for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team in 1924.The living room, named the Crimson Room (parlor) has a one of a kind mural of the presidents mansion. It was on of the few beautiful grand homes not burned during the civil war. We serve a hot gourmet breakfast starting with a appetizer of fresh strawberry soup we have yet to have a guest who has had it or any of the special gourmet breakfast we serve prior to their visit at Crimson Inn. Our guests leave the Inn feeling they have been pampered at it's best in a souther hospitality manner. We are a great location for parents coming to the U of A, or anyone visiting campus.
