The three wonderfully decorated bedrooms on the second floor are here for your stay. The second floor suite with the 16 foot glass ceiling is just spectacular. All of the rooms are delightful. The Teddy room for those that like to sleep in, is on the NW corner of the second floor. A rich green room tempting sleep. The Bele' room is light and cheerful on the NE side of the second floor. A great room for early risers!

Breakfast is served in the Titanic themed dining room.

Featuring a full library, this home has some real history from the tornado of 1917. The old-fashion front porch is open to all who stay. Sit and sip tea in the afternoon or wait till evening and watch the cars go by and listen to the stories of the past. Maybe a ghost of the past will join us!

The Mattoon Bagel Fest with the world's biggest bagel is a fun weekend in July or come to EIU's Homecoming by way of Amtrak. We give free pick-up and delivery if you arrive on the Amtrak. Minutes from EIU, Lincoln sites, Amish country, Winerys, Golfing, Boating, Outlet Mall and Antique shopping. We have the largest public swimming pool in the state and it is located just four blocks from Franny's. Fine dining and casual evenings are found in Mattoon. A beauty salon and boutique are only two blocks down the street. Stay at Franny's for some quiet relaxation.
