In National Park you have the opportunity to walk in pristine native forests or high country tussock. Trek the famous Tongariro Crossing, ski or snowboard Mt Ruapehu an active volcano or be transported into the heart of Mordor (from the lord of the rings).

You can fly over the three active volcanos, play a game of golf on New Zealand's highest golf course or go rock climbing. Take a wilderness experience down the Whanganui River in kayak or canoe. White water rafting on the Tongariro River or take time to learn to fly fish. If you are bike fit take the one day mountain bike ride down the 42nd traverse.
