Built in 1904 by John J Haas and sold to the Bettingers in 1912. Philip and Elizabeth hosted traveling entertainers and medicine peddlers. As the town midwife,Elizabeth also delivered more than 300 babies in this home.
Today, Jim and Marie Neider invite travelers into the home and lives of Marie's ancestral family. Each room is named for a family member,and you can read about their lives, pour over family photos and coax Marie to share memories.
