Canyon Lake Ranch is a romantic retreat in the Texas Hill Country. Two guest houses:
The Pool House sits at the swimming pool & hot tub overlooking the upper pasture. The house sleeps six comfortably (2 bedrooms 1 1/2 baths). The Hill House is more seclued (3 bedrooms sleeping 5). Both have a living rm, dining area,complete kitchen & decks/porches w/barbeque.
The Longhorns often graze right at the fence and are so tame they will eat "cow cookies" from your hands. Wild turkeys wander by at times and the resident woodpecker is busy at this time of year. Cardinals and hummingbirds share the ranch with the deer and the circling hawks. We did not mean to move here ourselves, but could not stop ourselves once we had seen it's beauty.
