The three-star Windsor Hotel, ideally situated in the centre of the village of Hermanus, is right on the edge of the sea, with a spectacular panoramic view of the ocean. It was built by Dr J J Hoffman in 1896 and has been a popular resort hotel ever since.

Since the hotel was taken over by Garth and Etricia Clark-Brown, many exciting changes and renovations have taken place.

Hermanus is considered to offer the best land-based whale watching in the world and our guests are able to do so from our diningroom, lounges, or from their own sea-facing bedrooms. With its mild Mediterranean climate and safe, clean, sandy beaches, Hermanus is a very popular holiday destination all year round and remains essentially unspoiled in spite of all the sophisticated amenities it now has to offer.

At the Windsor Hotel we are concentrating on good service and guest satisfaction, providing personal attention and hospitality. The Hotel is only a 70-minute scenic drive from Cape Town and transport can be arranged.
