Built in 1895, and graciously welcoming guests since 1917, it is one of 2 remaining Victorian Cottages in Virginia Beach. Located only 3 minutes' walk from the beach, it is close to all activities yet is in an historic residential neighborhood away from the bustle of the Resort Strip. Barclay Cottage is a romantic alternative to high-rise hotel/motel lodging.



After a full breakfast head to the beach with provided beach chairs, umbrella, towels and boogie boards. Return to sip cold drinks while rocking on the two story wrap-around porch and planning which of the 20 nearby restaurants to walk to for dinner. Lots of museums and nearby activities, provide rainy day and cold weather entertainment. Virginia Beach is a popular destination all year round.
