The Olde Canal Inn is a historic waterfront country inn, circa 1826. It is located on the Delaware River opposite Fort Delaware, on Pea Patch Island. The inn has rooms and suites, most or which are waterfront or have water views. It is located in Delaware's largest historic district and is just steps from the ferry to Fort Delaware and Fort Mott. The Inn has a fine dining restaurant as well as a casual tavern and waterfront deck.
Many romantic and historic getaway packages are offered on the inn website. Special program packages such as Ghost Dinners at the inn, Ghost Tours at Fort Delaware, Step Back to the Civil War and Join the Fort Delaware Garrison and the like are offered. The inn hosts banquets, weddings, parties, business meetings and special events.
