The GWB Cultural B&B is located in suburbs of Bangkok away from the hustle and bustle of the urban sprawl. The contemporary Thai styled home was originally designed and built by Roger Welty a well known and respected author and lecturer on Thai culture and Buddhism and a professor at Ramkhamhaeng University.
Your stay at our facility will feel more like a homestay with comfortable rooms and quiet surroundings. You will be served a full breakfast each day and will have free laundry service. 24 hour access to our dedicated staff, Library, email and internet, swimming pool and bicycles to explore the local neighborhood. There are numerous local spots worth visiting including Santi Asoke Monastery, vegetarian restaurants, a lake park for fishing and picnics, a recreational park for jogging, some well know Thai seafood restaurants and a plethora of markets and food stalls. Easy access to all forms of transportation (taxi, bus, tuk tuk, motorcycle, canal boat etc.) that give you the mobility to move easily in and out of the city center in no time. You have the option to receive daily Thai language and cultural instruction and our staff can arrange daily excursions.
