Located in Jonquières, near Orange, and Avignon in the heart of Popes's Provence and northern sunny Vaucluse, the Mas du Clos de l'Escarrat is a lovely old stone restored farm house, of typical Provençal style, which incorporates buildings dating back to the 17 th Century. It has been carefully renovated to preserve its authentic, rustic character and charm, without compromising the need for modern comfort in all the accomodations.
The Mas is surrounded entirely by farmland and is remarkably peaceful and secluded. The owners, Charles and Andrée Barail, both speak excellent English. They occupy the main house, and there are two self-contained studio apartments and two separate, larger two bed roomed apartments available for guests.
