Captain Eady's, a delightful homestay bed and breakfast, situated at Portobello on the Otago Peninsula a short scenic drive from Dunedin.
This character house, hosted by Richard and Ana Good, is situated on a small bluff overlooking Otago Harbour and near the high road to Larnach Castle.
The house was built early last century by Captain Eady, a ferry master, who, it is said, used to watch from his window the ferries plying the harbour.
