"Au Palmier de Barran" is situated within the limits of 3 departments and near Spain in peaceful countryside in the south west of France. Our former farmhouse has been renovated and offers you a quiet situation and a fantastic view as it's facing south towards the Pyrenees.
In Barran you'll find a family atmosphere in a part of France without any form of industry and mostly living from agriculture.
For your relaxation are at your disposal: sitting-room with colour tv, table tennis, boules and terrace with sun-beds. We serve a full breakfast and a good home cooking with local and oriental specialities.
You can have diner (on reservation) under the barn with fruit and greens from our own garden. On request we prepare diet meals or a pick-nick basket to take away on your trips.
The Boulogne area has numerous attractions for you such as water sports and angling on the lake, horse riding and outdoor pool in Boulogne and canoe-kayak on the Save river. Visit the country markets or the local festivals (jazz in Marciac) or Toulouse, nicknamed "la ville rose".
