A family tradition for over 100 years, a vacation at our Victorian Inn is as easy as 1, 2, 3... one block to the Great Auditorium, two blocks to the beach, and three blocks to Main Avenue shopping and dining.
Paralleling the rise of Ocean Grove itself in 1869, the Central Avenue House's history and tradition traces back to the town's founding as well. Originally called "The Auditorium House," the inn was one of many hotels that immediately sprang up to accommodate summer travelers who converged each year to attend Methodist "Camp Meetings." Jennifer, the current owner, is proud that her family has been part of the Ocean Grove hospitality tradition dating to 1898 when her great-grandmother, Cora Mae, bought the inn.
Guest kitchen is available 24/7,complimentary beach chairs / umbrellas. Eleven guest rooms are feature AC with paddle fans and sinks. Several shared bathrooms are ample for guest needs.
