Situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi and Yazoo Rivers, The Corners Bed & Breakfast Inn is located in the historic riverview garden district, close to the famous Vicksburg National Military, historic downtown shopping and restaurants, casinos and other historic homes.



Built in 1873 as a wedding present to a favored daughter of the Kleins who lived next door at Cedar Grove, The Corners earned its position on The National Register of Historic Places both because of the unique pierced columns on the front gallery that have the symbols of love and marriage carved into them and the lovely Creole, parterre gardens below the front gallery. Once inside, The Corners will impress you with its high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, ornate medallions and crown moldings.



Lovingly restored by the Whitney family, The Corners now has fourteen guest rooms: eight in the main house, two in the original quarters, The Galleries, perched further up the hill, with four guest rooms, that echo the style of the main house. All guest rooms have modern comforts such as private bathrooms, cable television and telephones and some rooms have canopy beds, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, private porches and views of the river. All have their unique character and charm.
