'The Ferns'is nestled behind the charming hilltop village of Titirangi, Auckland, gateway to the Waitakere Ranges, a magical rainforest park less than 30 minutes west of Auckland city. Throughout this magnificent region, approximately 150 miles of paths, tracks and trails lead to charming picnic spots, meandouring rainforest streams and waterfalls, and along clifftops with stunning views of the Manukau Harbour and Tasman Sea.







The Ferns offers both a private self-contained luxury guest chalet, or friendly hosted bed and breakfast accommodation in the main house, both within walking distance of cafes, galleries and nature trails.







'The Chalet' under a canopy of tree ferns and palms has a spacious loft bedroom with California King bed, and a small guest bedroom downstairs with a double(full)bed. There is a gorgeous bathroom with a spa bath under a bifold window opening out to a subtropical forest garden abundant with bird life. Facilities include a well equiped kitchenette, digital TV, stereo, heating, electric blankets, robes, dial up internet for your laptop, and a washing machine. Provisions for Continental Breakfast are supplied for the first day only. To assure your privacy, fresh towels or linen, or full service supplied on request. The Chalet is serviced weekly or a daily housekeeping service is available at an additional $25 per day.
