Home Port is a beautifully preserved 1876 Victorian country home
in the heart of Long Island's wine country, located on an acre of
woodland property. All the best the North Fork has to offer is
just minutes away: vineyards; beautiful, uncrowded
beaches; seafood dining; antique shops; and much more.
Here in our home, the history, and casual elegance of the North Fork awaits you. We offer private baths, gourmet breakfasts on the porch, luxuriant feather beds, air conditioned rooms, and beach passes. There are tennis courts, and a running track. There's a terrific little tasting room down the street where you can sample the wines of four vineyards
that are too small and specialized to even have a tasting room.
Go a little further down that street, and enjoy a beautiful sunset
over the Sound.
Most of all, we offer a relaxed atmosphere in which you can kick back and enjoy the slower rhythms of a gentler tradition.
