There are countless walks to be explored all over the Peninsula. For those with an interest in wildlife, pine martens, otters, wildcats, antlered stags, seals, porpoises and bird life, including herons, buzzards, sea eagles and golden eagles inhabit the area. The Peninsula is among the wildest, most remote area with the most beautiful scenery in Britain, touched by the sorcery of the Hebridean seascape.
The area, never crowded even at the height of summer, is a land of serene peace and great scenic charm, alternating between wooded glens (remnants of ancient oak forests), golden sands, shining seas and towering crags, long protecting it from intrusion.
If you need or want to “get away from it all” look no further than Creag Ard House. We look forward to welcoming you the “Highland” way and hope we can have the pleasure of your company in the not to distant future.
