Built with real adobe as a bed and breakfast in 1991, you have all the benefits of modern construction in an authentic adobe hacienda that is still re-mudded every year! The center courtyard's shaded portal, with a historic pigmented, two-color mud finish, has comfortable rocking chairs and benches to provide the perfect place to take in our vast 360 degree views. Light years from reality, our rural setting allows the quiet to seep into your bones. Although secluded, we are an easy and scenic 4 to 12 minute drive from the charming village of Arroyo Seco, Taos Pueblo and the wonderful restaurants, museums and galleries of Taos. The Little Tree is perfect for those who want to get away from the hectic pace of city life. Furnished for your comfort, convenience and luxury, you will find a haven rich with unique touches designed specifically for your personal relaxation and rejuvenation.
Each of our rooms features different amenities for your enjoyment. Whether your preference is an outdoor garden courtyard with a spacious, private hot tub for two; a candle-lit, indoor Jacuzzi for two; or a romantic kiva fireplace nestled beside your bed, we have the right setting for you. Three rooms feature a fireplace (preset for your enjoyment year-round). Two rooms have an 8-foot, walled private garden courtyard. Even our most modest room features a large spacious bedroom with a 60 mile sunset view. Each room has one queen bed, a private bath and a private entrance - so that you may be as private or as social as you like. Once checked-in, you may come and go through your own private entrance at your leisure.
For breakfast each morning, we serve a two-course, freshly prepared, hot. gourmet breakfast either on the main garden portal among the hummingbirds and flowers or candlelit in the dining room ~ depending upon the season. Complementary refreshments are served each afternoon for your enjoyment ~ a perfect time to visit with us and our other guests. We specialize in assisting you in designing the perfect way to create each day of your vacation based upon your own personal whims, interests and desires.
