Vintage NW bed and breakfast that offers a secluded ambiance and a convenient location
Step back in time. Our 1907 home is built on a 1/2-acre knoll surrounded by rose bushes, Rhododendrons and Douglas fir trees, lending a sense of seclusion; yet we are conveniently located. Inside this period setting is a warm, welcoming parlor with a fireplace, TV/game room and a dining room. There are original hardwood floors throughout, a diverse library, and a growing antique collection.
In the evening or after a delicious breakfast, stroll the grounds. Enjoy the seasonally-blooming plants, or just relax by one of the five, tranquil water features in various garden spots, or on the wrap-around porch, open-air deck, or patio. The garden is lit by several lamps in the evening.
The four bedrooms and three baths are located on the second floor adjoining a central sitting room. Rose's and Coquette's rooms have en suite baths with whirlpool tub & shower, TV/VCR, candle fireplaces, and Queen canopy feather beds. Coquette's has a private veranda. Victoria's and Madeline's rooms, also with feather beds, either share the large bathroom with the claw foot tub/shower, or guaranteed private bath, in advance, for one or the other. Terrycloth robes and slippers are provided. No children under the age of 10, or pets.
