The hotel, located in the historic, gold rush town of Weaverville and originally built in 1861, was last rebuilt in 1880 after burning to the ground. It has been painstakingly restored with the original high ceilings and wood floors, attempting to recapture as much of the original charm as possible. The building is on the National Register of historic places.
