Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Alta Vista is a historic brick farmhouse located in the heart of Valle Crucis, N.C.--15 minutes from the towns of Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Spend the night in a fine art gallery! Alta Vista offers a fine art gallery downstairs and three B & B rooms upstairs that feature designer decor, antiques, queen-size beds, fresh flowers, and private tiled baths. Guests are served breakfast consisting of such treats as Breakfast Quiche, Cinnamon French Toast, or a Southern Country Breakfast - and always fresh hot coffee, fresh fruit salads and home-baked muffins. Homemade cookies are available each afternoon with cold or hot beverages. After breakfast or afternoon snacks, enjoy a leisurely walk at Valle Crucis Community Park across the street, which borders the Watauga River and is surrounded by mountains.
