Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Alta Vista is a historic brick farmhouse located in the heart of Valle Crucis, N.C.--15 minutes from the towns of Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Spend the night in a fine art gallery! Alta Vista offers a fine art gallery downstairs and three B & B rooms upstairs that feature designer decor, antiques, queen-size beds, fresh flowers, and private tiled baths. Guests are served breakfast consisting of such treats as Breakfast Quiche, Cinnamon French Toast, or a Southern Country Breakfast - and always fresh hot coffee, fresh fruit salads and home-baked muffins. Homemade cookies are available each afternoon with cold or hot beverages. After breakfast or afternoon snacks, enjoy a leisurely walk at Valle Crucis Community Park across the street, which borders the Watauga River and is surrounded by mountains. Or stroll the grounds at Alta Vista to delight in the perennial gardens, birds, and butterflies.
