Moody Manor Your Home Away From Home
Our two story brick home is located just two short blocks from downtown Sparta IL and about ten minutes south of the new World Shooting Complex located to the north of Sparta. The house was built in 1854 and has been newly renovated to give modern conveniences, but still keeps the old country comfort and charm. This is evident from the front porch that can be seen in the award winning movie "In the Heat of the Night" to the swing under the large magnolia tree in the backyard.
We have three rooms all with private baths. There are two larger rooms upstairs that have king size beds and old fashion claw foot tubs featuring exposed plumbing showers and champagne message systems. These tubs are equipped with about 70 jets that force warm air into the water to produce a whirlpool effect. Our third bedroom is smaller but still has a queen size bed and its outside entrance. There is also a large side yard with large deck to relax on with morning coffee or through out the day or evening.
