Dormouse House Garden B&B offers 2 luxurious very private double guestrooms ensuite plus 2 adjoining singles for parties of 3 or more (ask for info please). Guests are less than 25 minutes from central Paris by direct train (weekday trains every 1/2 hr) yet enjoy the amenities of a large home: fireplace, jacuzzi, garden setting, and use of most of the house (library, living room, sitting room, winter garden, dining room, view room...)The village is charming (the favorite retreat for Parisians for decades!)and features a grotto/waterfall, parks, 11th c. church, cafes, restaurants, etc. The train station is a 15 minute walk from the house (buses/taxis also available). Private tours,shopping trips, airport pick up, FRENCH classes and COOKING classes can be arranged!
A lovely 3 course dinner may be ordered to taste and a full breakfast may be ordered at a small additional charge (eggs from my own hens!) Much of the produce is from my organic garden.The house is filled with art and antiques; furnishings are all of the highest standard (including linens,beds, showers...)Heated towels in winter. Our guests choose us for the exceptional welcome and kindness that is the Dormouse House standard!
