Situated above our Antique Shop and Coffee House in the Heart of Medieval Rye Apothecary House Bed and Breakfast Rye changes the established perception of bed and breakfasts and Guest Houses. We offer a level of privacy not normally associated with this type of accommodation. The rooms are spread over 2 wings of the building and are all on different levels .The Four Poster and Eaves room share their own lounge and internal front door and can therefor also be let as a non catering apartment.
The Apothecary Suite(set in another wing of the property)has its own lounge,bedroom and bathroom. To the rear of Apothecary House there is use of a small rooftop garden with wonderful views of hidden Rye.
In addition to our East Street premises we have our Merrythought room. A Quirky ground floor room on its own situated up a cobbled path facing St Mary's, Rye's ancient church. We provide mini-fridges,mineral water,DVD televisions with a choice of films,complementary toiletries, Egyptian cotton towels and tea and coffee making facilities as standard. At breakfast (in the coffee house downstairs) we provide freshly baked pain au chocolate,croissants,organic cereals,toast ,fruit a choice of teas and arguably the best coffee in the area!
Dr Syns self catering Luxury cottage is situated a few doors up from Apothecary House and provides luxurious accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms .It has recently been re-furbished to a high standard and like our other accommodation is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary furniture .It is available by the day or week.
