Elegant, restored, turn-of-the-century Victorian Manor located in historic Walkerville area of Windsor, Ontario. Five (5) bedrooms, each
with distinctive decorating, has a private bathroom/ensuite, full cable TV
with DVD's, in-room phones, hairdryers, soap/shampoo dispensers, one with
fireplace, three with jacuzzi tubs, and more. The Manor currently operates as an upscale, full service, Award-Winning, Bed & Breakfast. Guests are providing a safe, tranquil setting for walks among a variety of
century architecture, mature parks, interesting and diverse shopping and a variety of cultural restaurants. The large, wrap-around front and side porch provides an opportunity to absorb the neighborhood in a
relaxed and friendly atmosphere. While many aspects of this B & B are
unique, it is the Gourmet Breakfast that most guests comment on. Fresh fruit plate, followed by fresh baked breakfast cake(peach cobbler, apple crisp, mixed fruit) and then the full menu including items such as traditional bacon and eggs (the big one), pancakes, French toast, Mc Ye Olde Sandwich, Omelettes, and of course Eggs Benedict. All items are made from scratch.
NB: We are also pleased to note that any location at or around the B&B, we
offer wireless internet service so that you may adventure on the internet or manage your email while out of town. For the non-wireless laptop computers, we can download a program and provide a portable receiver so you also may utilize the internet anywhere at the B&B. We accept long-term accommodations for business, geographical transfers and unique situations which require an extended stay. For long-term accommodations (weekly or monthly) we provide reduced rates and guests should call for further information regarding their unique situation. And, the clientele can best be described as (usually) the business traveller during the week and the 'romantics' on the weekend. I have many wedding couples using the suite for their honeymoon night and the other rooms occupied by close friends, wedding party and/or family/friends. And, many families rent the entire facility to accommodate larger numbers of relatives and/or friends (up to 14 persons)who are in Windsor to attend weddings, anniversaries, reunions and other
events.
