Cleopatra BB, Palermo, Italy
Along the old walk to the sea, in the historical heart of Palermo, there is this elegant luxury home insideof the sixteenth century walls that in the past surrounded the town defining its perimeter.
It's situated in a peaceful but, at the same time, central place, in fact it is inside of the so named "Cattive" walls in the Foro Italico of Palermo.
It's not far from the well-known "quattro canti" situated between Via Maqueda and Corso Vittorio Emanuele in which the most important monuments of Palermo largely appear, only 50 metres from the sea. In fact, crossing the street of the Foro italico, you are inside of a wonderful green park that arrives to the sea, ideal place for long, calm and full of relax walks.
From the balcony of the house you can moreover see a fantastic panorama: the gulf of Palermo and the Pellegrino mountain that, as Goethe wrote, charms the foreigner for its beauty.
By night, the place remains very peaceful but at the same time it becomes lively and, above all in summer, it fills of life hanks to the numerous, open-air and typical restaurants and pubs. There are also many cultural events like concerts and shows that every year are organized in a place called Kalsa for the whole summertime.
