Lauretum Inn, Chestertown, Maryland

Chestertown bed and breakfast

Lauretum (1881) sits splendidly atop a tree graced knoll on six acres in Chestertown, MD. A long winding lane invites you to Lauretum. The complex form and massing of the house reflect the eclecticism of the late Victorian period. The original owner, Harrison W. Vickers,(1845-1911), commissioned the international renowned architect, Edmund George Lind to design his country estate which he named "Lauretum Place".
