Moon and Mountain Retreat is located on an acre of land nestled in the Jemez Mountains in Jemez Springs, NM. The guest suite has its own private entrance and balcony, and overlooks the Jemez River with spectacular views of Cat Mesa and Virgin Mesa. The spacious bedroom (15' x 20') has a sitting area, dining area and private bath. Guests also have access to kitchen and laundry facilities.
The guest quarters include a beautiful gas fired stove with aromatherapy compartment for cold weather enjoyment, vaulted ceiling, hand painted faux-finish walls, saltillo tiled floor, an Old Mexico queen size bed with handmade carvings and a European pillow top mattress, and a loveseat for lounging. The guest bathroom includes a vaulted ceiling and an old fashioned claw foot tub with shower next to a 5' window for mountain views while soaking. The guestroom is air conditioned, but you will find that the ceiling fan cools the room quite nicely except on the extremely warm days of summer. And on the high desert, nights are much cooler than the days.
