Port Albert Inn, Goderich, Ontario
Ontario Lake Huron Inn and Bed and Breakfast
In 1842, a Georgian-style Coach House was built along-side the Nine Mile River in the hamlet of Port Albert. Much of the Inn remains original including the cherry wood bar in the pub. The North-bound highway (#21) once passed the front door of the Inn, carrying many weary, hungry travelers to the Queen's Bush Settlement. Port Albert is a tiny friendly lakeside hamlet nestled up against the ocean-like Lake Huron in one of the prettiest river valleys in Ontario.
