Porterfields is a modern and spacious residence offering quality bed and breakfast accommodation to travellers and business people.

We are spectacularly located on the magnificent Otago Peninsula within easy driving reach of the world-renowned Taiaroa Head albatross colony and all the Peninsula's other attractions. Yet we are only 8 miles from Dunedin's city centre, the Octagon.

Porterfields' owners are themselves keen travellers and are therefore aware that their guests seek that right mix of company and privacy during their stay. Particular attention is paid to guests' comfort with luxurious bedding, efficient heating and well-appointed private bathrooms. Our guests' facilities, including one double room and one twin, occupy the entire first floor thus providing spectacular views of the harbour and the peninsula itself.

We provide sumptuous continental breakfasts and encourage our guests to advise of any particular dietary needs or preferences.

We take particular pleasure in providing information and advice to guests prior to their arrival so that they can maximise their enjoyment in our rather special corner of New Zealand.
