William Miller House, Richmond, Virginia
Bed and Breakfast in the Historic Fan District of Richmond, VA
William Miller, proprietor of the Rogers and Miller Marbleworks, built this Greek-Revival style home about 1869. The charm of the original marble mantles, period window glass, and architectural details have been carefully preserved while the "necessities" of today: air conditioning, updated plumbing and electrical systems, and newly-tiled baths serve to pamper you. Previously featured on the Fan District Association's Holiday House Tour, this Bed and Breakfast offers two guest rooms, one with queen bed and the other with king bed. Each features an en-suite, private bath offering both bath tub and shower. Rooms are graciously-sized and incorporate a sitting area; however, guests are invited to relax in the delightful parlor with fireplace on the main floor or enjoy the porch and patio area in temperate weather. Your full gourmet breakfast is served each morning on a collection of platters acquired during European travels. Resident cockapoos, Nuggett and Sandi, stand ready to accompany you to the porch - should you invite their company.
