The Grice-Fearing House B&B is a charming, historic home located in picturesque Elizabeth City, NC, just five blocks from the waterfront. It is the City's only all two-room suite bed and breakfast, and additionally features Jacuzzis in both suites. The Grice-Fearing House is the oldest house in Elizabeth City, dated ca 1798. The present proprietors bought the house in 2004 and worked with an architect specializing in designing additions to historic homes to renovate and update the house with the luxuries of the 21st century.

Guests have their choice of two elegant and well-appointed suites: the Grice Suite (mission oak furnishings) with a queen bed; and the Fearing Suite (Queen Anne cherry furnishings, with a king four poster bed. Both suites have quality beds with firm mattreses, color-coordinted linens and decorative accents, and fresh flowers. Each suite has its own spacious ceramic-tiled bathroom, containing a Jacuzzi tub and shower. Each suite also has its own adjoining sitting room, with a loveseat, chair, TV, DVD, ceiling fan, and wireless internet access.

Amenities in each room include a ceiling fan, radio/CD player, bedside reading lamps, luxury linens, thick towels and bathrobes, premium toiletries and hairdryers.

A full gourmet breakfast is served either in the elegant formal dining room or on the brick patio. Consisting of a hot entree, fruit course, and accompanying homemade side dishes, breakfast is served with silver, crystal, and china.
