Newman-Vollmar House Bed And Breakfast, Osgood, Indiana
Osgood, Indiana Bed and Breakfast
This Victorian 3-story house was built in 1890 by the area's leading hardware distibuter - John Eckert. It stayed in the family for many years eventually turning into an Antique shop then a Bed and Breakfast. There are original stained glass windows, oak woodwork, and fire places.
Since we have opened in 2001 there have been several "sightings" of Alice. She died in the house in 1897, but still makes her appearance from time to time.
Many guests choose to sit on our front porch, on our brick court yard, or overlooking our double pond.
You may decide to enjoy afternoon tea in our newly opened Carriage House with advanced reservations.
