Yellowstone River "eco-cabin" with fishing out the back door, yet walking distance to downtown.Angler's Rest on the Yellowstone219 Little Creek BendLivingston, Montana 59715 United States 406-581-3855 vacation@yellowstoneanglersrest.com http://www.yellowstoneanglersrest.com Rate this Inn Brief Description: This four bedroom, four bath home is located on the eastern edge of Livingston with fabulous views of the rugged Absaroka Mountains to the south, and the Crazy Mountain range to the east. The home has a rustic, western style with use of recycled barn wood and metal in the design. A small creek, actually the North fork of the Yellowstone River, flows right past the deck in the back yard. The creek has beavers, ducks, geese and otter to entertain those who just want to relax on the back deck. Across the creek is a large city park called Mayor's Landing. For those willing to brave a creek crossing, the main Yellowstone River is within sight and just a two minute walk from the back door. A large beaver dam helps to cross the creek with dry feet! General location: The home is located on the eastern edge of town. Three blocks away is a great little coffee shop, and the main part of town with shopping and restaurants is 10 to 15 blocks from the house. It is a one hour drive to Yellowstone National Park, and just under an hour to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. For fishermen or folks that just want to explore, the amazing Boulder and Stillwater River valleys are located to the east within an hour or so. Head west, and the Gallatin, Madison and Missouri River Valleys beckon.
